About the Producer:
The Romangia Cooperative was founded in 1996 with the goal to unite and relaunch the noblest experiences of the winemakers of the Sorso-Sennori area. Currently it counts on a vineyard area of 60 hectares. The production philosophy is based on the enhancement of the vines that better than others have expressed the enological vocation of Romangia, especially the Vermentino, which in the sunny soils not far from the sea of the Asinara Gulf to express absolutely extraordinary scents.
About the Wine:
Vineyards grown on soil with significant calcareous matrix. Regular fruit samplings are collected in order to determine ideal grape ripeness and harvest time. Manual harvesting using boxes with a maximum capacity of 20 kg. Followed by destemming and soft pressing of the grapes, with fermentation taking place in controlled temperature stainless steel tanks at 18°C.
Organoleptic Notes:
Straw yellow with greenish reflections. Aromas of floral scents and tropical fruit. On the palate, it is mineral and persistent.
Pairing: Seafood, pesto sauce, pork tenderloin, fish, salads and vegetables.
