About the Producer:
San Fabiano Calcinaia is a winery located in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. The winery has been in operation for over 30 years and is run by the Zingarelli family. The winery covers 160 hectares of land, including 44 hectares of vineyards that are divided into 28 different plots each with its own unique microclimate and soil composition. This diversity of terroir allows the winery to produce a range of high-quality wines with distinct characteristics. San Fabiano Calcinaia is committed to sustainable and organic farming practices, using only natural products to fertilize and protect the vines.
About the Wine:
Vines cultivated using the pruned spur-cordon trying system. Careful selection of the grapes on the field and in the cellar. Alcoholic fermentation with controlled temperature with long maceration on the skins, 15 to 20 days. 70% of wined is aged in stainless steel tanks and 30% in wood for 4 to 12 months and at least 3 months in bottle.
Organoleptic Notes:
Intense ruby red color. Bouquet of violets, ripe fruits, and light spice tone. Well-balanced, harmonic and structured.
Pairing: Ideal with Italian and Tuscan dishes since it is a table wine. Perfect with meat and mixed antipasto or Mediterranean fresh dishes.
