Le Caniette Rosso Bello
About the Producer:
Le Caniette is a winery located in the Marche region of central Italy. The winery was founded in the 1960s by Raffaele Vagnoni, who was passionate about producing high-quality wines that reflected the unique terroir of the Marche region. Le Caniette is a locally admired company that is earning worldwide consensus. The estate has over 20 hectares, and unique elements to its vineyard, such as the Mediterranean microclimate, balanced by the closeness to the Balkans, and sandy soil with Early Pleistocene clastic rocks. They follow the principles of organic farming, to provide their customers with natural products, as certified on every bottle.
About the Wine:
Vines are grown on sandy soil with limestone presence at 280m to 400 m altitude. 4000 pruned-spur cordon-trained vines. Wine making starts with 6 - 9 days soaking in stainless steel. Aging in stainless steel or concrete and at least 3 months bottle aging.
Organoleptic Notes:
Ruby red with intense and persistent recalling red fruits, morello cherries, rose and violet flowers. Pleasantly fresh, savory, warm with alcohol. Full-bodied and soft to the taste. The final sensations lead to clarity on the palate.
Pairing: It goes well with legumes of all kinds, first courses accompanied by strong sauces, fresh stuffed pasta and local cured meats.
