About the Producer:
Cirro Wines was established in 2009 in the Wairau Valley, Marlborough, New Zeland. Named after the highest of all clouds, the Cirro range consists of three Marlborough varietals - Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Gris. The 2020 Cirro Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is produced by Marlborough based winemakers David Tyney and Richard Green. All grapes are sourced from premium vineyards in the Wairau Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand.
About the Wine:
Vines grown in the lower-mid Wairau Valley and harvested in mid-April. 100% stainless steel fermentation with some lees contact in tank.
Organoleptic Notes:
Fabulously fragrant, showing Granny Smith apple, kiwifruit and lemon/lime zest aromas on the nose. The palate delivers splendid fruit intensity and vibrant acidity, finishing long and very tasty. Classically styled and flavorsome.
Pairing: Chicken, pork, fish, shellfish, ceviche, asparagus, focaccia, salad, bruschetta, cheese and vegetarian cuisine.
