Cantina di Negrar was founded in 1933, its wines are rooted in the winemaking tradition of Valpolicella and the Veronese wine-growing areas, with a modern reinterpretation to guarantee the best quality and price ratio. Founded in 1933, the altitude of its vineyards vary between 100 to 250 meters above sea level. Soil type is varied, mainly clayey-limey, partly limestone, partly of volcanic origin.

Located in the Valpolicella Classica area. Altitude between 100 and 250 metres above sea level. Soil type: very varied, mainly clayey-limey, partly limestone, partly of volcanic origin. Grassed vineyard. Training system: double pergoletta. Age of producing vines: from 15 to 25 years. Load of buds per vinestock: 18. Planting density: 3,300 vines per hectare. Yield per hectare: 100 hl. Harvest in end of September, exclusively handpicked. Crushing with de-stemming of the grapes. Fermentation, then aged in steel. Natural stabilisation.
Organoleptic Notes:
Young and vibrant ruby red with violet hues. Lots of red berry fruit with spicy notes. Medium bodied, velvety with balanced tannins and a warm dry finish.
Pairing: Pasta, meat dishes and mature cheeses.
