Barbaresco Taliano Michele
About the Producer:
The farm Taliano Michele was founded in 1930 by Domenico Taliano, and is located at Montà, in the land of Roero. It has vineyards not only in Roero but also in the zone of Barbaresco, precisely at San Rocco Seno d'Elvio (Alba). In the mid-nineties, Michele's sons, Alberto and Ezio, began to renovate the farm. Their work was focused on the improvement of the methodologies of both grape production and the refinement of the wines.
About the Wine:
Vines are grown on calcareous soil at 300m altitude, cultivated using the guyot training system. Harvested in the first half of October. Traditional vinification with maceration, refinement in wood for 24 months and in bottle for 12 months.
Organopleptic Notes:
At sight a dense garnet red color with light orange reflections. It offers a wide and full fragrance of spices and licorice. Its flavor denotes a full-bodied wine with sweet tannins that bring to a long and rich ending.
Pairing: Suitable for second courses. Red meat roasts, roast games and ripe cheeses.
