Albariño Breizo Eidosela
About the Producer:
Bodegas Eidosela was founded in 2003 in the region of Rias Baixas, Spain. Its estate has over 60 hectares of vineyards, and the areas of influence of the D.O. Rías Baixas is characterized by lowlands, close to the sea, and generally close to the lower reaches of the river courses. The influence of the Atlantic climate is, therefore, a fundamental peculiarity of both these sub-regions and their wines.
About the Wine:
It is a wine made with grapes from the Condado do Tea sub-region harvested in its optimum state of ripeness and health. The grapes are destemmed and crushed and then passed to the pneumatic press, then the must is sent to a tank to decant (decant) for a day, after which time the clean part is separated for fermentation (18 º C) and the sludge is filtered with the vacuum filter. After fermentation, the wine is racked to separate it from the lees. The next process is cold stabilization, with the wine subjected to -5ºC in an isothermal tank for one week to precipitate the bitartrates. At the end of that week, the wine is taken out of the cold and filtered with a tangential filter to then proceed to the amicrobial filtration and bottling.
Organoleptic Notes:
Straw yellow with green flashes. It is clean and bright with a high intensity at nose. Very fragrant, fruity and floral, fresh and subtle, recalling peach and apricot. On the palate it is powerful, full-bodied with an adequate alcoholic level, balanced acidity, harmonious and with many pleasant nuances. Its persisting taste is pleasant, elegant, and complete.
Pairing: Fish, seafood and Asian food.
