Fontanavecchia Aglianico
About the Producer:
Fontanavecchia was founded by the Rillo family, in the beginning of the 19th century, and today is one of the outstanding wine-producing facilities in the Campania region. The estate expands over 18 hectares of vineyards in the Beneventano district of the Samnium region. Tradition, local pride, and continuous striving to maintain the highest excellence define the philosophy of the Rillo family and show in all the wines they produce. The story of the wine \ of Fontanavecchia is inextricably linked to the history of the Samnium region and its wines: Falanghina del Sannio and Aglianico del Taburno. These two precious grape varieties have come back into fashion thanks to the steady effort of the Rillo family and are renowned worldwide today.
